J.T. Yost has been drawing comics and illustrations professionally since 1992. His comics have been published by NBM Graphic Novels, Three Rivers Press, Vice Magazine, Silver Sprocket, Kilgore Books, Hic & Hoc Publications, Arthritis Foundation, and more.

He founded Birdcage Bottom Books in 2008, a comics publishing company and distro with a focus on memoir and autobiographical work.
